About Me

Statistics & Beyond

I'm a statistics student at Cornell University with a deep fascination for data analysis, machine learning, and mathematical modeling. My interests span from genetics to physics to social dynamics, always looking for patterns and insights in complex data.

When I'm not diving into datasets, you'll find me exploring the outdoors through backpacking, running, cycling, and tree climbing. I also enjoy strategic board games and nearly any outdoor adventure you can think of.

Experience

Intern

Bookkeeping for Good

May 2025 - August 2025

  • Developed automated transaction classification system using Python, pandas, and scikit-learn NLP models, achieving 94% accuracy on financial data categorization and reducing manual processing time by 60%
  • Built real-time data pipeline integrating Stripe API with QuickBooks Online using Flask and PostgreSQL, processing over 1,000 daily transactions
  • Implemented statistical anomaly detection algorithms using NumPy to identify irregular transaction patterns, flagging potential errors with 89% precision rate for client review

Teaching Assistant for CS 2850: Networks

Cornell University

Fall 2024, Fall 2025

  • Guide students through quantitative applications of graph theory, game theory, and network analysis to model real-world systems including financial markets, auction design, and strategic behavior
  • Facilitate weekly office hours covering mathematical frameworks such as Nash equilibria, network centrality measures, and information cascade models
  • Evaluate student understanding of algorithmic concepts including PageRank, matching market mechanisms, and network flow optimization through structured problem sets and examinations
